The Bridal Diet - the special way to lose weight for your wedding

Your wedding day is going to be one of the most important days of your life. It is the one day when you and you alone are the focus of attention. You are very much going to be the centre of attention on your wedding day so you'll wan't to look stunning and perfect. Obviously you will want to ensure that your dress, your hair and your make up are absolutely tip top. But what if you have a few pounds to lose to make sure that the dress fits you perfectly and that your shape is exactly as you want it? You need a special, targeted bridal diet.

In the short window of time that you have left to you, you need a highly target plan that will deliver several pounds of weight loss every week - right up to your wedding day (and beyond, if you want!).

What you need is a bridal diet that is simple, explicit and undemanding of your time. You are going to have enough to think about in the weeks ahead without having to concentrate on your food intake.

It isn’t your fault either – in the weeks up to your wedding there is bound to be a number of parties, hen nights and other celebrations and it is easy to take your eye off the ball and a few pounds can easily go on without your even noticing.

So, in order to lose weight for your wedding, your bridal diet needs to be clear, easy to follow and easy to incorporate into your normal routine during what is likely to be a stressful time for you.

Let's just think about the problem that most of us have with losing weight. So why is it such a difficult thing to do, even when our motivation levels are high?

Well, we need to understand that our bodies were designed to operate in environment where food was nowhere near as plentiful as it is today. So when we eat something, our gut is primed to extract every ounce of energy from everything that we consume. And, don't forget that we prefer the taste of high calorie foods because these are the ones that give us the best chance of survival in a world of uncertain food availability. And that is why we'd rather have a donut than a dry biscuit.

An effective bridal diet must therefore reverse these natural tendencies and reduce calorie intake without causing cravings or any other problems.

If we understand why our body behaves the way it does with regard to food, we can at least have a fighting chance of losing weight when we need to.

There are hundreds of diet plans and clubs available some of which might be appropriate for a bridal diet and some of which might help you lose weight for your wedding but for unrivalled success in this most special of weight loss scenarios, you need a plan that deal with your bridal diet explicitly.

If you're looking for a highly targeted plan that will help you shed 10 pounds in just 14 days, then you can't do better than Strip That Fat - it's specifically designed to deal with short-term dieting targets and it worked wonders for my two daughters when they decided to lose a few pounds for their wedding (they had a double wedding and I can't tell you how proud it made me to see them looking so slim and beautiful on their special day).
